Q-Extract DNA Extraction Solution is designed for rapid and efficient extraction of PCR-ready DNA from various sample types e.g. mouse tails, mouse ear snips, other mammalian tissues/organs, saliva and bacteria. DNA is extracted in just 8 min.
G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer increases the DNA yield from difficult samples such as clay dramatically. G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer must be used either in combination with commercial extraction kits or as part of the extraction method of interest.
Q-Extract DNA Extraction Solution
The non-toxic Q-Extract DNA Extraction Solution is optimized for easy extraction of PCR-ready DNA. DNA can be extracted from various mammalian tissues e.g. mouse tails, ear snips, liver, kidney, lung and plant leaves and saliva.
The one-step lysis is performed in either a thermocycler or heating block and is divided into two simple heating steps. The extracted DNA is ready for PCR without further handling such as vortex, centrifugation or dilutions.
DNA extraction from fish fins and bird feathers is similar but requires prolonged incubation for optimal lysis.
The obtained DNA extract is stable at – 20°C for up to one week and at – 80°C for long term storage.
For optimal genotyping results we recommend the Q-Extract DNA Extraction PCR kit. This kit combines the easy DNA extraction by Q-Extract Solution and the user-friendly Taq DNA Polymerase Master Mix RED for PCR.

G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer
G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer is developed to increase the yield of microbial DNA during DNA extraction from difficult matrices for example clay and soil samples. The primary function of G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer is to relieve inhibitory DNA – particle or other inhibitory DNA complexes.
G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer is available freeze dried with 0.1 mm or 1.4 mm beads in a 2 ml tube. G2 DNA/Enhancer is also available in liquid format in three packing sizes including either 10, 50 or 100 reactions of 500 µl.
G2 DNA/RNA Enhancer should be used in combination with either a standardised extraction methods or commercial kits intended for DNA & RNA extraction.
