Hygiena CrossCheck measures acid phosphatase activity, a natural enzyme present in raw meat. CrossCheck is used with finished products to verify thermal processing and can also be used on food contact surfaces to measure raw meat residues and cross-contamination hazards.
Hygiena’s CrossCheck Acid Phosphatase Test combines a pre-moistened swab, liquid-stable reagent, and patented Snap-Valve to deliver superior performance. The unique patented Snap-Valve design reduces user variation while the pre-moistened swab breaks through biofilms and maximizes sample recovery. Liquid stable reagent eliminates the need to reconstitute a pellet giving more accurate results with less variation.

Hygiena SpotCheck Plus detects the presence of glucose and lactose on a surface. Simply swab a surface, release the reagent and if any residue containing glucose and/or lactose is present the reagent will turn green, indicating poor surface hygiene. The more contamination present, the quicker the color change and the darker the color. SpotCheck Plus instantly validates the hygiene of a surface, allowing immediate corrective action to be taken.
The easiest and most cost-effective way to monitor glucose and lactose in your food production environment to meet HACCP regulations. A pre-moistened swab maximizes sample collection for accurate results. Simply swap, snap and read the easy to interpret color change… minimal training required.

Zero Maintenance
During the frying process, the fat/oil is exposed to atmospheric oxygen and moisture at high temperatures for a long time. As a result, many chemical reactions take place during frying fat, producing a number of harmful compounds that can increase the risk of several health problems, such as lung or stomach cancer.
Deep frying foods produces chemical reactions such as hydrolysis, oxidation, and polymerization, which changes the chemical composition of frying oils and release free fatty acids and free radicals that combine into polar compounds containing monoglycerides, diglycerides, and polymeric triglycerides. OleoTest detects these polar compounds, helping you to know when to replace your frying oil.
OleoTest is innovative because of its accuracy, simplicity of use and also because the results remain stable for several months, allowing the test itself to be kept as a registry in the scope of HACCP or food safety systems. The quality control of the tests is continuously verified by independent entities.

High levels of nitrates in consumed water can be harmful, especially to pregnant mothers and small children. The US EPA has set the maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) for total nitrate/nitrite at 10.0 mg/L and for nitrite alone at 1.0 mg/L measured as nitrogen. Nitrites in water are especially an issue with well water where nitrites from fertilizers can be found in irrigation water and make their way into well water. The Hygiena™ 5-in-1 Water Test semi-quantifies Nitrates (NO3), Nitrites (NO2), Total Hardness, Free Chlorine, and pH. Suitable for any type of water testing including CIP rinse water, water used in food & beverage processing (i.e. beer, juice, soft drinks, wine, soups, etc.), tap water, well water, fish farm water, farming, and more.
A simple, rapid, and effective water test that puts flexibility and convenience in the palm of your hand.

High levels of nitrates in consumed water can be harmful, especially to pregnant mothers and infants. The US EPA has set the Maximum Contaminant Level Goal (MCLG) for total nitrate/nitrite at 10.0 mg/L and for nitrite alone at 1.0 mg/L measured as nitrogen. Nitrites in water are especially an issue with well water where levels can exceed 50 mg/L. Farm irrigation water can waste nitrites from fertilizers into well water sources. The 5-in-1 water test confirms filtration processes and gives you piece-of-mind regarding your water source.
This is a versatile test for determining the amount of free chlorine in drinking water and thus verify dosage testing at the point of consumption. A free chlorine level less 2.0 mg/L 30 minutes after the addition of sodium hypochlorite and at least 0.2 mg/L 24 hours after sodium hypochlorite is added will be enough residual to maintain water quality through the distribution network. Combined with the pH test, water treatment effectiveness can be determined and provides you confidence that your program is working.
The application of pH water testing in food safety, along with a host of other industries, is broad and includes fruit juice testing (sugar extraction and purification), beer production, and general CIP rinse processes.
