The life of a power transformer mainly depends on the condition of the insulating paper and the most accurate method for evaluating the degradation of insulating paper in a transformer is to measure its degree of polymerization, but it is impossible to directly check the inside of the transformer in operation. Therefore, the evaluation can be conducted by analyzing Furanic compounds which are generated by the degradation of cellulosic materials used in the insulating paper to make a decision for transformer replacement and maintenance.

The precision is calculated by 10 sequence injections according to ASTM D5837 and the method detection limit (MDL) is referred by Environment Research QA/QC Handbook by National Institute of Environmental Research (2011).
The solid phase extraction was adopted as a preparation method due to its highest sensitivity with the superior extraction efficiency and the great peak shape.

Amino Acid Analyzer (Post-column derivatization)

Amino acid analyzer was developed to facilitate the determination of amino acids in protein hydrolysates or in native samples by post-column derivatization.

AMINO ACID ANALYZER

Amino acid analyzer was developed to facilitate the determination of amino acids in protein hydrolysates or in native samples.
There are two different method for amino acids analysis. The first method is UV/VIS detection with the use of Ninhydrin reagent, which react with both primary and secondary amino acids. The second method is Fluorescence detection with the use of o-phthalaldehyde(OPA), that gives greater sensitivity.

Our amino acid analyzer using post-column derivatization method can analyze most of amino acids in protein hydrolysates (protein, collagen, peptides, and foods) as well as in native samples (physiologic fluids, tissue extracts, broths, musts feeds and beverages).

Carbamate Analyzer is a system for analysis of carbamate pesticides using post column derivatization method.
The analysis of carbamate using post-column derivatization method offers qualitative and quantitative analysis results by automated sample preparation at the same time.
It alternates the GC-ECD method and also analyzes 13 kinds of Carbamate pesticides not included in the 10 compounds specified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Method 531.1 and AOAC Protocol 29.A05.

Features:

· High sensitivity : detection limits of 0.1-0.5ng(or 0.2-1ppb levels) for drinking water) can be routinely achieved.
· Selectivity : only N-methylcarbamates and N-methyl carbamoyloximes plus components reactive to OPA under the specified conditions are detected.
· Minimum sample preparation : drinking water can be directly injected into the system.

Sugar Analyzer

Sugar analyzer is used for analysis of sugars using Evaporative Light Scattering Detector(YL9181 ELSD) or Refractive Index Detector.

SUGAR ANALYZER

Sugar analyzer is used for analysis of sugars using Evaporative Light Scattering Detector(YL9180 or YL9181 ELSD). Sugars are generally analyzed by HPLC with Refractive Index Detector. However, the analysis method using RI detector has some limitations, such as low sensitivity, or the difficulty of simultaneously analyzing various sugars. The methods using UV or fluorescence detector are also used coupled with derivatization method, but the procedure of derivatization is tedious and a waste of time.

Preservative Analyzer provides a photo diode array detector to give reproducible and reliable chromatography with excellent peak shape ad accurate qualitative analysis to check the exact spectrum.

PRESERVATIVE ANALYZER

Methylparaben and Phenoxyethanol are very commonly used as preservatives for cosmetics, drugs and other skincare products but they are strictly regulated because their overuse can cause toxicity at higher concentration to human body.
For they have an absorbance at UV/Vis wavelength range, these are usually analyzed by HPLC after extracted by organic solvents such as Methanol or DMF.
For the maximum absorption wavelength(λ max) differs depending on components, (Methylparaben : 257 nm, Phenoxylethanol : 271 nm), one of peaks could be resulted with low sensitivity.
