ECOTEST CARD Personal Gamma Radiation Dosimeter

Radiation Badge EcotestCARD is a direct reading personal dosimeter for personnel exposure monitoring.

This dosimeter badge can be used either independently or within the automated system of personal dosimetry control ASIDC-21.

The radiation monitoring badge EcotestCARD allows storing dose accumulation history with real time reference in the non-volatile memory, and communicating it to the computer. If the programmed threshold levels of gamma dose or its rate are exceeded, light and audio alarms are actuated.

In 2011, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine sent EcotestCARD dosimeters to Japan as humanitarian aid for recovery from the accident at the Fukushima NPP, where they gained a reputation of a reliable and precise product.

Personal Gamma Radiation Dosimeter DKG-21M

Direct reading personal dosimeter in a damp and dustproof body with a high ingress protection rating, designed for use by the Army, Ministry of Emergencies and Civil Defense in conditions of significant temperature oscillations and high dustiness of atmosphere.

The dosimeter allows storing dose accumulation history with real time reference in the non-volatile memory, and communicating it to the computer. If the programmed threshold levels of gamma dose or its rate are exceeded, light and audio alarms are actuated.

DKG-21M is in operational service with the Ukrainian Army, and is successfully used by the Army and the units of the Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan.

ASIDC Ecotest is a new-generation software for automated systems of individual dosimetry control.

It is designed to control the accumulated doses of staff at the nuclear power facilities and at the institutions dealing with gamma radiation sources.  

The software is based on a new up-to-date platform, which will make it relevant in the future. Client-server architecture allows independent operations with the dosimeters on many workstations. It features an option to access the database and manage it via the Internet.

The software is configured to operate with DKG-21 EcotestCARD and DKG-21M personal gamma radiation dosimeters. It can be supplied as a part of the automated system along with the hardware, in compliance with the needs of the customer.

ASIDK-21 can be used at the nuclear power facilities and at the institutions dealing with gamma radiation sources. DKG-21 EcotestCARD and DKG-21M personal gamma radiation dosimeters which meet the requirements of IEC 61526 standard are the key element of the system.

ASIDC-21 also includes the IR port adapters for data transfer between the dosimeters and the PC, as well as the ASIDC Ecotest software

DoseBase Software is designed for contactless programming of personal dosimeters by a system administrator and reading the measured dosimetric information from them, as well as personalization of dosimetric information and its storage in the database.

DoseBase software is compatible with personal gamma radiation dosimeters DKG-21 “EcotestCARD”, DKG-21M, and of EPD-27 series.

DoseBase Software can be used at nuclear power plants, in the companies and institutions that handle ionizing radiation sources in conditions that require radiation dose control of the personnel.

  • automation:

    registration of individual exposure doses;

    switching the dosimeters into working mode and their programming and switching off after data reading;

    reading and recording values of dosimetric measurements;

  • adjusting dosimeter programming options;

  • saving the parameters of dosimeter programming until their next changes;

  • registration of employees, their expose dose and parameters of each session;

  • generation of reports on dosimetric measurements.

Each measurement session is automatically recorded in the DoseBase software and features a unique number identifier.
The software enables calculation of the accumulated dose for a specific staff member for every session and generates appropriate reports for all employees, a specific employee, all selected sessions, and a specific session.
Based on the reports, it is possible to determine the time interval with an accuracy of up to a day, the values of the measured doses that are read from the dosimetric devices, which devices were used by this person in a given period of time to conduct dosimetric measurements.

Standalone portable kit for radiation control APKRK-01

A standalone portable radiation control kit is intended for emergency groups and teams of NPP radiation surveillance and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) task units. The kit is designed to measure the individual dose equivalent of gamma radiation and keep an automated database of the accumulated dose of personnel during emergencies.

APKRK also provides an automatic transfer to the remote server and recording of dosimetric measurement results with their archiving.

The system consists of DKG-21M gamma radiation dosimeters in the amount according to the customer needs (basic kit of 30 pcs), Gamma Sapiens Intellectual gamma radiation detectors UDKG-01APro (basic kit of 30 pcs) that meet the IEC 61526 international standard, water- and dustproof smartphones with installed Special GS Ecotest software, ServerGS server software, a laptop with shock-resistant, water- and dustproof casing with installed DoseBase software.

The system also comprises an infrared port adapter that provides data transfer between the DKG-21M dosimeter and a protected laptop with installed DoseBase software, a mobile universal battery for recharging protected smartphones in the field environment, and high-quality shock-resistant water- and dustproof case “Pelican” and accessories.
