Simply and accurately assess and capture noise dose and the true noise exposure of workers using the Pulsar NoiseBadge Personal Noise Dosemeter System. The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that employers should obtain a reliable estimate of employees’ exposures, and compare the exposure with the exposure action values and limit values. This dosimeter badge system is just the device to do this.

Datasheet
The Model 22 noise dosemeter comes with leather mount and clips onto a worker’s clothing. Each badge includes data logging for Time History measurements enabling you to measure and store a person’s noise exposure throughout the working day or shift.
Each badge consists of an acoustic processor, rechargeable battery and microphone housed inside a robust metal case.
Meets international standards:
The Class 2 Acoustic Calibrator for the NoisePen. The Model 106 has been tested and formally EU Pattern Approved under certificate PTB-1.61.4034842, as meeting all of the requirements of the latest International standard, IEC 60942: 2003. Fully meeting the requirements for the calibration of industrial sound level meters used in almost all Health and Safety applications.
The Model 106 isintended to calibrate and set the noise measurement sensitivity of the NoisePen (although the Model 106 can be used with any properly approved sound level meter that uses a standard measurement microphone).
This model gives a standardised tone and has sensors to correct for temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and battery voltage so that it remains stable and accurate under almost any conditions where it is likely to be used.
We have taken great care during the design process to ensure that the unit is comfortable to hold, robust and easy to use, whilst performing accurately throughout a wide range of temperature, humidity and pressure conditions.
A bespoke lightweight NoisePen kit carrying case designed specifically to hold your valuable noise measuring equipment and protect it from accidental harm.
Choose from one of two options depending on how many NoisePens you have.
Each case has space for an acoustic calibrator, NoisePen mounts and the NoisePens themselves.
The Remote Start Keyfob for NoiseBadge dosemeter can be used instead of the Reader Unit to Start and Stop Pulsar NoiseBadge Dosemeters. The Start and Stop buttons on the Keyfob are used to send commands to the noise dosemeter.
When the Start or Stop buttons are pressed, the Status indicator will light to show that the button has been pressed. The Infrared signal is sent from the transmitter on the front of the Keyfob.
A Reader Unit is still required to calibrate and reset the individual dosemeters but the Keyfob can be more convenient to use, especially when there is a need to socially distance or where a persons shift differs to that of the health and safety officer, or the worker operates from a remote location.
The Reader and Calibrator Unit for the Pulsar Noise Dosemeter system controls the individual dosemeter badges. The Reader Unit communicates with the dosemeter via an infra-red link.
The Reader Unit is required to calibrate the dosemeters prior to measurement as per the requirements of the Noise at Work Regulations and HSE requirements. Once you have fitted the dosemeter onto a workers shoulder (or helmet using the helmet mount) you are ready to start the dosemeter via the infra-red link. Once the noise exposure measurements have been taken the dosemeter is stopped in the same way using the Reader Unit.
