THE NEW COMBINED ULTRASONIC SENSOR u [sonic] …
for wind direction and wind speed. The seawater-proof sensor is optimally heated and ideal for cold-climate locations. The device is connected via an 8-pin screw connector. The measured values can be output via different interfaces, depending on the version.
ULTRASONIC ANEMOMETER – THE U [SONIC]
An ultrasonic wind sensor or ultrasonic wind sensor (sometimes also ultrasonic wind sensor) is used to record the wind speed and wind direction. In contrast to thermal wind measurement or wind measurement using cup star technology, the wind speed is recorded using ultrasound measurement . The transit time of the ultrasonic waves in the moving air (wind) is recorded over two measuring sections at right angles to one another. With this so-called bidirectional transit time measurement, influences from temperature and humidity can be calculated out and the wind measurement by the ultrasonic wind transmitter is highly accurate reached.
In general, very robust designs are possible for ultrasonic anemometers . In addition, they do not have any moving parts and therefore there is no wear and tear on ball bearings, as is the case with anemometers with a cup star (cup star anemometer). Ultrasonic wind transducers are also very low-maintenance overall , they can be heated well and are accordingly well suited for winter use. The measurement technology used means that ultrasonic wind sensors are very dynamic and can detect rapid changes in wind speed or wind direction.

The u [sonic] WS is the most compact and system-capable addition to the Lambrecht meteo weather sensor series.
The sensor works without moving measuring elements and is therefore low-maintenance. The intelligent heating works depending on the wind speed and direction and keeps the sensor free of ice even under extreme weather conditions.
The u [sonic] WS6 easily copes with the special challenges of alpine and maritime applications.
Many different interfaces and protocols are possible. The u [sonic] WS6 has no limits in its applications.
MULTIPARAMETER WEATHER SENSOR / ALL-IN-ONE WEATHER SENSOR
Several sensors are combined in one device in a multi -parameter weather sensor or all-in-one weather sensor. This enables several weather parameters or measured variables to be measured in one device. A classic combination of sensors in a multi-parameter weather sensor / all-in-one weather sensor is, for example, the combination of temperature, humidity and air pressure sensors.
Advantages of the multi-parameter weather sensor
The main advantage of a multi -parameter weather sensor or all-in-one weather sensor compared to individual sensors lies in the lower installation effort, since significantly fewer materials and peripheral devices (e.g. cables, trusses, brackets, etc.) have to be set up, and in the degree of installation of the compact devices that one take up much less space than several individual sensors.

Wind direction and speed are determined by ultrasonic measurement, radiation, air temperature, air humidity and air pressure are also output; the dew point is calculated. The lamellar hut of the humidity / temperature sensor eliminates unwanted weather influences and ensures even more precise measurements.
Many different interfaces and protocols are possible. The u [sonic] WS7 has no limits in its applications.

The unique self-draining collection system enables the measurement of every single drop with the high resolution of 0.001 mm / m 2 . The rain [e] can be operated all year round without antifreeze and is therefore particularly environmentally friendly.

PLUVIOMETER / WEIGHING PRECIPITATION SENSOR
A pluviometer or a weighing precipitation sensor is a device for determining the amount and intensity of precipitation with a defined collection area. Using a funnel, the precipitation is collected in a collecting vessel in a simple pluviometer so that the amount of precipitation can be read off on a scale. With a weighing pluviometer, the precipitate is formed into predefined drops, which are then weighed.
ADVANTAGES AND DETAILS OF THE PLUVIOMETER
The advantage of a pluviometer of the rain [e] series is, among other things, the continuously self- emptying collection system: If one chamber of the collecting vessel is full, the collecting vessel tilts, empties itself and the measurement is continued in the other chamber. THE ENTRY-LEVEL MODEL IN THE RAIN [E] SERIES
The reasonably priced rain [e] one is characterized by first-class, proven quality and features as in the upper class of the rain [e] series. There are only minor differences in the technical data (amount and intensity of all precipitation).
The latest weighing technology in the smallest of spaces combined with a self-emptying collection system also enable the rain [e] one to achieve excellent resolution and accuracy.
The weighing precipitation sensor is ideal for setting up new measuring networks as well as for supplementing existing precipitation measuring networks. The Modbus RTU interface simplifies the installation of the sensor and the integration into networks.
