HandPad
Scan 50 pro is equipped with a HandPad, an ambidextrous armrest. It can be slid to either side with a single movement and turns the machine on. Resting the arm when counting prevents Musculoskeletal Disorders caused by unsuitable equipment and poor posture.
The colony counter is also suitable for both right and left-handed users thanks to the duplicated counting keys on each side of the keyboard.

Scan 300 offers multiple export possibilities to save manual input time. It also increases the security and quality of your analyses. Usually, Petri dishes are thrown away after counting and no further verification is possible in the event of a claim. With Scan software, all reports are archived.

White LED Dome lighting:
reflection and shadow free
Petri dishes are difficult to lighten as they are transparent and reflective. Heterogeneous lighting creates artefacts on the edge of the agar and on the sides of the Petri dish. These artefacts may be counted as colonies and can ruin an accurate counting.
We have designed a white diffusing dome for 360° lighting without reflections or shadows. The lighting is spread evenly everywhere and allows you to count the colonies on the entire surface.
