instaBAG MILK is a filter bag with a pre-measured sachet of milk powder. Add a sample, dilute, blend: your sample is ready for analysis.
The filtrate is ready to be pipetted
The pre-dosed milk powder bag is directly integrated into the bag. Simply add a sample and warm purified sterile water. The milk powder dissolves completely during mixing. Preparation is immediate.
The pre-dosed dehydrated medium is French milk powder from Normandy. instaBAG MILK can therefore be used for the analysis of chocolate products: cocoa powders, chocolate bars and various finished chocolate products.
instaBAG MILK is available in 225, 900, 2250 and 3375 g.
The advantages of a filter bag
Filtration is done during blending. There is no need to wait for sedimentation of the debris to pipet.
The filtrate is particle-free, so there is no debris on the Petri dish. Reading is thus facilitated and the results more accurate.
Applications
instaBAG MILK is used in the food industry and public institutes for the analysis of chocolate products (cocoa powder, chocolate bars…). According to ISO 6887-4, the use of UHT milk or reconstituted skimmed milk powder (100 g/L of water, sterilized after reconstitution) is recommended as a pre-enrichment media to detect pathogens as Salmonella spp. and STEC.

instaBAG is used in the food industry and public institute research. It adapts itself to every step of sample preparation. instaBAG is used to perform sample dilutions for enumeration of all microorganisms (ISO 6887). It is also used for non-selective pre-enrichment for the detection of Salmonella spp (ISO 6579) and Enterobacteria (ISO 21528-1).

Ready-to-use bag with pre-dosed dehydrated media is integrated in the bag. Just add the sample and sterile and purified water. The diluent dissolves itself during blending.
The pre-dosed dehydrated media is supplemented Fraser ½. instaBAG Fraser ½ is used for primary selective enrichment or as a diluent for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria spp. (ISO 11290-1, ISO 11290-2) in food and environmental samples.
Filtration is done during blending. There is no need to wait for sedimentation of the debris to pipet.
The filtrate is particle-free, so there is no debris on the Petri dish. Reading is thus facilitated and the results more accurate.
instaBAG supplemented Fraser ½ is used in the food industry and public institutes research. In Fraser, it allows the suspension of solid samples of 25 g diluted at 1/10th for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. This selective media is already supplemented and ready-to-use. It is validated according to ISO 11133.
