MODULE TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The sensor (829) has been specially developed for measuring the module temperature of photovoltaic (PV) systems.

A Pt100 measuring resistor, which is protected in a body made of seawater-resistant aluminum, is used as the measuring element. Thanks to a special potting compound, optimal heat conduction between the body and the measuring element is achieved.

The temperature can be measured in a 4-wire circuit via the permanently connected cable. This and the shielded cable make the measurement less sensitive to external interference.

The soil sensor (828) is waterproof and is used for the precise determination of air, water or soil temperatures. A Pt100 measuring resistor, which is protected by a shaft made of VA steel, is used as the measuring element. Thanks to its special sealing compound, optimal heat conduction between the shaft and the measuring element (hard glass capsule) is achieved.

Air temperature sensor (8281)

The sensor (8281) determines the air temperature with a platinum resistance measuring element Pt100. The refuge (8141.6) protects the sensor from unwanted weather influences such as precipitation and radiation and is used to create optimal measurement conditions.
